Refund & Cancellation Policy
How cancellations and refunds work across our products. We offer two ways to pay — one-time event passes and monthly subscriptions — and this policy covers both. Written in plain English; please read it before you pay.

1. The two ways you can pay
The prices below are exactly as declared and shown at checkout, in South African Rand (ZAR):
- One-time event passes — a single purchase, no recurring fee. FrameTheDay (R499 day / R899 weekend).
- Monthly subscriptions — a recurring monthly charge. Port Watch (R299/month) and PingMe (a monthly subscription).
The cancellation rules are different for each, so find the one that matches what you bought.
2. One-time event passes (for example, FrameTheDay)
Full refund before the gallery is used. If you change your mind and have not yet shared the link or QR code with any guests, and no photos have been uploaded to the event, we will refund you in full — no questions asked.
Non-refundable once photos are uploaded. Once photos have been uploaded, the service has been delivered and the pass is non-refundable — except where South African law requires otherwise (see “Your consumer rights” below).
The 7-day cooling-off right. Where the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act’s 7-day cooling-off right applies to your purchase, you may cancel within 7 days of paying. This right can fall away once we begin providing the service at your request — for example, once the event goes live or photos are uploaded.
3. Monthly subscriptions (for example, Port Watch, PingMe)
Cancel anytime, no lock-in. There is no lock-in contract and no cancellation fee. You can cancel your subscription at any time, from within the product or by emailing us.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. You keep full access until the month you have already paid for ends. Subscriptions do not renew after that, and no further charges are made.
We do not refund the current period. Because access continues to the end of the paid period, the month in progress is not refunded when you cancel. If you cancel partway through a month you have paid for, you simply keep using the product until that month ends.
4. Duplicate or failed charges
If you are charged more than once for the same purchase, or a charge fails on our side while your card is debited, we will refund the extra or failed amount in full.
5. If we can’t deliver
If an extended outage stops us from delivering a product you have paid for, or we have to cancel it, you will get a full refund (for a one-time pass) or a pro-rata refund or credit for the unused part of the period (for a subscription).
6. How to request a refund or cancel
Email billing@ryklief.org with the product, your account or event name, and (for a refund) your payment reference. To cancel a subscription you can also use the cancel option inside the product. We reply within 2 business days. Approved refunds go back to your original card through PayFast (Pty) Ltd and typically take 5–10 business days to appear.
7. Your consumer rights
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act. Payments are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd; we never receive or store your card details. This policy sits alongside our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
The company behind these services is Ryklief-org (Pty) Ltd (registration 2026/476403/07), registered in South Africa. Our registered address is available on request — email support@ryklief.org.
