Terms of Service

The agreement between you and Ryklief for using this website and our products. Written in plain English — please read it before you sign up or pay.

1. About these terms

This website (ryklief.org) and our products — including Port Watch, FrameTheDay, PingMe, WashHub and Work Lekker — are operated by one company. These terms apply when you visit our sites or use our products. Some products have additional terms shown at sign-up or checkout; where they do, those terms sit alongside these ones.

2. Accepting these terms

By using our website or any of our products, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them. If you are agreeing on behalf of a business, you confirm you have the authority to do so.

3. What we offer

We build data, automation and software products. Some are free to browse; some are paid. The two ways you can pay us are:

  • One-time passes (for example, a FrameTheDay event pass at R499 day / R899 weekend) — a single purchase, no recurring fee.
  • Monthly subscriptions (for example, Port Watch and PingMe) — a recurring monthly charge you can cancel anytime.

The exact price is always shown on the checkout or pricing screen before you pay, in South African Rand (ZAR). For how cancellations and refunds work, see our Refund & Cancellation Policy.

4. Your account & responsibilities

Where a product requires an account, you keep your login safe and are responsible for activity under it. You give us accurate details when they are needed, and you only use our products for lawful purposes in line with their intended use.

5. Payment

Paid products are priced in South African Rand (ZAR). Payments are processed by PayFast (Pty) Ltd — we never receive or store your card details. Fees are shown before you pay. Subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel them, and you can cancel at any time (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for what happens when you do).

6. Acceptable use

Do not use our products to break the law, to upload or send content you do not have the rights to, to harass anyone, or to try to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the services. We may remove content or suspend access where we believe these terms are broken.

7. The service is provided "as is"

We work hard to keep our products reliable, but we do not guarantee they will be uninterrupted or error-free. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important — for example, downloading an event album before its storage window ends.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent allowed by law, our liability for any claim arising from a product is limited to the amount you paid us for that product in the three months before the claim (or, for a free service, to the minimum required by law). We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited under South African law — including the consumer protections in the Consumer Protection Act.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa. We will try to resolve any dispute informally first; if we cannot, the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.

The company behind these services is Ryklief-org (Pty) Ltd (registration 2026/476403/07), registered in South Africa. Our registered address is available on request — email support@ryklief.org.

10. Changes & contact

We may update these terms as our products grow; we will change the date above when we do. To contact us about these terms, email support@ryklief.org.
